H&H Mechanical provided and installed:

  • 3 Carrier VAV RTUs for the office area, with associated supply and return ductwork
  • 3 RTU roof curbs
  • All necessary natural gas piping serving the RTU units
  • 20 VAV boxes in the office area for zoned temperature and airflow control
  • Carrier BACnet i-Vu control system for the HVAC system throughout the office and production areas
  • All associated ductwork and controls for the VAV system
  • 4 gas-fired unit heaters
  • 1 ductless split system serving the office IT room

Results

This project included completion and commissioning of an HVAC installation built around a variable air volume (VAV) air distribution system to provide precise zone-level temperature and airflow control across occupied spaces. VAV terminal units were installed with pressure-independent control dampers, factory-calibrated airflow sensors, and associated ductwork in accordance with project requirements and SMACNA standards.

Electrical and control wiring was terminated and verified to support reliable communication between zone devices, central equipment, and the building control system. Each VAV box was programmed with design minimum and maximum airflow setpoints and balanced to specified CFM. Zone sensors and control devices were calibrated for accurate temperature control.

Final testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) and functional performance testing confirmed proper airflow modulation, stable system response, and consistent comfort conditions throughout the facility.

The result is a functional headquarters, production, and warehouse facility spanning nearly 50,000 sq. ft. in Waukesha, designed for collaboration and future growth, with space to expand by an additional 60,000 sq. ft.
